Eyes like soil

I wish I could plant my roots in them

Let my soul derive all that it needs from every part of you

Skin like petals

I ask if you love me or not

Not if you can

The last time I see you may be the last time I live

And the last time I live is the time before I see you

Heaven is a grass field

Your shoulder is a downy pillow

Hand grasping mine

Your eyes seemed to glow in the fire

Now I know it was just a trick of the light.
